My path into the nonprofit sector was intentional. After years in the for-profit world, I felt drawn to work that was more honest and more human. Once I made the shift, I immersed myself quickly — seeking out mentors, learning from experienced practitioners, and building relationships across the sector.
I completed a master's degree in nonprofit management and gained extensive hands-on experience across a range of organizations. I've seen what separates nonprofits that sustain from those that scramble — and it almost always comes down to infrastructure, not passion.
Most of my days start with coffee and a reminder that what's really important is relationships. I'm married to Sheeba, dad to Olivia and Elijah, and a reluctant but enthusiastic dog owner (Lola). That groundedness shapes how I work — with care, without rush.
